Basic Science

The Department of Basic Science at SEACET, Bangalore was established in the year
2007 with an objective of imparting the practical knowledge along with the value-based
education to aspiring engineers in order to equip them with latest technology and trends
as per the current industry scenario. The Basic Science Department provides a dynamic
learning environment for building strong foundation for the budding engineering
students. Students are well groomed by excellent various teaching methodologies thus
enhancing their confidence to get equip with the latest technology trends. The basic
science curriculum is well structured manner with an Outcome based education modal
to achieve academic excellence. Department has highly dedicated & experienced
faculty members backed up with strong research & teaching skills.
State of art infrastructure and laboratory facilities.
R and D Centers of Basic Science Department has awesome facilities with top class
research facilities helping students and faculties to develop their research abilities.Involving the students in various extra-curricular activities like sports, cultural programs etc.Dedicated mentors with Effective mentoring system.

VISION AND MISSION

To lay sound foundation in basic sciences and prepare the students to learn
engineering better.
To offer the best for the society by imparting quality education, creative skills,
knowledge to the students to enrich their lives.
